Event Support Associate (PT)
The primary responsibility of the event support associate is to provide support for any internal and/or external, non-school related program or activity. This includes rental events, in-house events, meetings, and programs.

Reports to: Private Events Manager
Hours: No Set Schedule: Daytime, evening, and weekend availability required. Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments to include a variety of weather and temperature conditions. Work hours vary, and may be during the day, evening, or nighttime hours. This is a part-time position where the schedule will be based on venue rentals and event support needs. The Event Support Associate will be expected to work consistently 10 to 21 hours per week depending on need.
Part-time, hourly position $18.00/hour

Responsibilities:
Private Rentals
• Before, during, and after a private rental event, work closely with the events management team to determine what assistance is needed.
• Monitor event execution, address areas of improvement, and facilitate event shutdown. • Provide consistent customer service to site visitors and rental clients.
• Maintain professionality with clients and vendors at all times.
• Assist in event equipment set up and breakdown. Including but not limited to, lifting and stacking chairs, moving banquet tables (with assistance), bending, stooping, lifting up to 30 lbs.
• Monitor rental equipment inventory, including linens, tables, and chairs.
• Initiate linen pick up after events and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Assist in post-event clean up when needed. Including bagging and removing trash and gathering items for vendor pickup.
• Meet with potential rental clients and facilitate rental tours of the grounds.
Internal Events
• Assist in equipment setup for membership events, meetings, programming, and other internal events
.* Before, during and after an internal event, work closely with the events management and other Frick teams to determine what assistance is needed.
• Assist in event breakdown.
Qualifications:
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication skills, including email and phone etiquettePrivate Rentals

Qualifications:
• Strong organizational and time management skills
* Friendly, helpful, and a desire to provide stellar customer service
• Ability to effectively communicate with clients from a wide variety of cultural and professional backgrounds, including but not limited to, wedding, nonprofit, corporate, and private rental clients
• Proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift 30lbs, stack and secure chairs, and move and carry tables with assistance
* Ability to problem solve
• Clearance of a criminal background check
• Must have a valid Driver’s License
• Experience working in the events industry, cultural sites, the arts, museums, or historical places
